My parents got divorced when I was still in elementary school. At first I didn't understand what was happening... they told us what they planned to do but I was to young to understand.
Before the divorce was final my dad got a girlfriend and moved out. My mom could afford to live in our house so we had to move to.
Both my parent moved to trailer parks that wouldn't allow Rottweilers, so we had to put my dog, Simba, to sleep.
My dad eventully broke it off with his girlfriend(who I hated) and moved down to Missouri, this really hurt because he didn't even tell me he was moving. I still talk to my dad, and sometimes see him, but it will never be the same.
My mom got remarried to a man I don't particularly like, but she's happy so I'm happy.
At this point the only problems are my dads lack of child support nd my mother's remarrage has caused us to move to a town I... HATE. But yeah, overall divorce has caused major changes in my life, but it's something that's easy to get used to and live with. :)
** Note to all parents planning a divorce; DON'T! Please try to wait until your kids are grown and out of the house. I may have gotten used to this, but I still hate my life everyday because of it. So, work it out... for the kids.
