Effects of Divorce on Children Story from Florin Bitea

When the divorce process took place I wasn’t able to be there and my lawyer represented me.
My ex-wife was already in England and from that day on I couldn’t see my son for almost 10 years because in the divorce papers the Romanian court didn’t mention the address where my ex-wife lives.
Last fall she contacted me for the first time in almost 10 years and she let my son to talk to me. I flied to England to visit him but because of so many years away from him I am a stranger I would like to have a closer relationship with him but my ex-wife won't let l me and for me to find a lawyer in the UK is very hard.
I asked a lawyer and she told me it will cost me almost 10,000 pounds, an amount that I cannot afford. It’s heartbreaking to know that you have no power to do nothing and just the waiting and hoping that God will do something.
I encourage everybody to fight and make possible to be present in the courtroom every time.
I wish and I’m hoping and I’m praying to God that somebody can help me to get my rights to see my son to spend time with him and to let him know the truth about what happened and how he was taken away from me.
He doesn’t know the truth: he was taken away from me.
I don’t know nothing about UK law how to get the info to start the process and get the right results.
